Finding the Snail Boss

Looking to find King Clang’s Location in MapleStory?  If you want to get King Clang’s Red Oriental Helmet drop, then you will need to get your search on.  This can be a challenge because of the spawn rate but the good thing is the server sends out a message when he spawns near your location. 

Locate King Clang by searching the Hot Sand map (Flroina Road) for a big turbine shell which spawns on any of the Map’s platforms.  When he is in the area you will see a message stating 'A strange turban shell has appeared on the beach'.  King Clag is not considered a difficult boss, and actually only about two others are easier to defeat.  How often does King Clang Appear?  His spawn rate is about every 45 minutes to an hour.  Some players have reported as long as two hours.

Here is how you defeat King Clang:

Wake him up by attacking him
Avoid his Earthquake attack by timing your jumps
Pay attention to his stun and slowing attacks
Prepare to fend off Clangs and Lorangs
