A lot of "people" from the game industry minimize "text based" games, saying they are not real games but just a passing fad or that they use to be popular in the 90's but now with the Console and high end graphics those style games have little to no relevancy in today's games. Well to that say -
" BRRRAAATTTT". With communities like Travian, Mob Wars and yes, even UnforgivenWar, there is geometric growth for what other game platform can be played on PC, Mobile and even consoles with little to no code changes?

Hard core gamers will always respect a good text based game, anyone that says they are a gamer but does not play at least one text based game may not actually be a true gamer

during the old days, players rely to their imaginations to make their games more entertaining, playing text based rpgs can have endless imagination

i say its here to stay. its also easier to play it when youre in an office environment
