since there are threads for swordsmen and archers, heres one for the masters of the arcane. post here if you like mages or any magic related class. why do you like em? my very first mage (in an MMO) was in Ragnarok Online. i love playing mages because you can deal a lot of damage and still be relatively safe. if you also have good buffs you can be hard to kill too.

i'm not a fan of magic users, but i did try playing as a mage one of them was in RF online, i used to play as a corite summoner, able to summon beings as your ally is really cool

i am very fond of being a mage in every game that i played lol, Psycheeper and elementor on flyff wizard in cabal mage human on RF Magician on rose online Caner on Goonzu online Shaman Target on atlantica Deva on Tantra and many more all mage

I've never really played as a pure mage class, usually it's a hybrid battle-mage sort because I like fighting in the frontlines. I did try being a mage in Oblivion though, it has a lot of perks (like having an advantage in sneaking around and having your own duplicator chest and sorceror tower).

well usually when i make mages on game i made it nuker type even sacrificing the defense, so naturally i always like to be in a party level grinding alone is boring so i prefer getting a char that needs companion and sometimes loner lol

yeah that's one of the drawbacks of being a mage, you can hit hard, but you won't survive if take a lot of damage, better if you have a tanker with you..summoners are one of those lucky mages
